IPL 2023 Auction :- The auction for the 16th edition of IPL 2023 will begin today at 2:30 PM IST in Kochi, Chennai. The IPL auction will be conducted by veteran auctioneer Hugh Edmeads, who fell ill during the IPL 2022 auction last year. Every team owner in IPL would like to include good players in their team.

The first mini-auction of the 16th season of IPL will be held in Kochi, Chennai on Friday, in which 405 players will bid for a maximum of 87 slots, in which 30 slots are for foreign players, let us tell you that before the auction all 10 franchise officials and Auctioneer Hugh Edmonds has also reached Kochi. A mock auction was also held on Friday. South African all-rounder Chris Morris was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 16.5 crore. There can be at most one operation in the auction as KKR have only 7. The remaining Rs 42.5 crores left while their 14 slots remain vacant, while Hyderabad have the remaining purse of Rs 42.5 crores in which they have to fill 17 slots.

Royal Challengers Banglore
This time in the team of Royal Challengers Bangalore, there will be a need for backup left arm batter and backup left arm simmer and there will be a need for a fast bowler who can take wickets in the death overs.

Chennai Super Kings
The team had the second worst (11.46) runs in slog overs last season. They will try to improve it to some extent by including left-arm fast bowler Sam Karen.
