Ingredients

  • Maida 500 grams
  • Semolina 100 grams
  • curd half bowl
  • salt to taste
  • sugar half teaspoon
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • oil for frying

Chole Ingredients

  • Chickpeas 1 bowl or 150 grams
  • baking soda half teaspoon
  • Tomato 3-4 medium size
  • Green chilly
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • Refined oil 2 tbsp
  • cumin half teaspoon
  • Coriander powder one teaspoon
  • Red chili powder 1/4 tsp
  • Garam Masala

How to make Bhature

  1. First of all, sieve the flour and semolina in a big utensil,
  2. then add oil, baking powder, curd and sugar to it and knead a soft dough with the help of lukewarm water.
  3. Make the dough flexible by stretching it, then keep it covered after applying a little oil on top for about half an hour.

Make Bhatura From Thick Dough

After the fixed time, take out the dough and knead it again with your hands. After this, put oil in the pan and keep it to heat. While the oil is heating up in the pan, prepare the Bhatura by rolling it. Apply oil on the hands and break a big dough from the dough, then prepare the bhatura by rolling it neither too thin nor too thick. When smoke starts appearing from the oil of the pan, put Bhature and start baking. Keep pouring oil over the bhatura with the help of a spoon. Take it out on tissue paper when it becomes light golden.

How To Make Chole

  1. To make chickpeas, chickpeas are kept soaked overnight, however, if the chickpeas are not soaked, then you can boil chickpeas by following some tips.
  2. Cover and soak the chickpeas in very hot water for 20 minutes, then put a lot of water in the cooker and put it for 6-7 whistles.
  3. Your chickpeas will boil, on the other hand grind tomatoes, green chillies, ginger finely with a mixie.
  4. Put oil in the pan and heat it.
  5. After roasting cumin, add coriander powder.

Fry the spices well

  1. Add tomato, ginger, green chili paste and red chili powder and fry the spices until oil starts floating on top of the spices.
  2. Add a glass of water and salt as per taste to the roasted spices.
  3. Mix boiled chickpeas in this spice curry and stir well with a spoon. If you find the chickpeas too thick, then add water as needed.
  4. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes after it starts boiling.
  5. Mix garam masala and half green coriander. Now serve these spicy chickpeas with Bhature.
